I recently stayed at this Montreal apartment and had a mostly positive experience with a few minor issues.The location was excellent. The apartment is within walking distance of Jean Talon Market and close to Metro stations, which made it easy to explore the city. This convenience was the highlight of our stay.The apartment was well-equipped and felt complete. Everything I needed was there, and the space was thoughtfully set up. It felt like a real home rather than just a rental. However, there were a few problems. The apartment didn't have ice trays, which was inconvenient, especially during warm weather when we wanted cold drinks. The bathroom sink also drained very slowly, so water would pool up and take a long time to empty. This made my bathroom visits longer than expected.As a first time user, I found communicating rough VRBO confusing. When I booked the apartment through their site, I was pushed into buying damage insurance I clearly didn't need. The platform disguised this as protection, but the process felt undeniably coercive. I'm an adult woman who has stayed in dozens of rentals over the years—never damaged a single property, never encountered a problem, and consistently earned stellar ratings from every host.The assumption that I needed their insurance despite my flawless track record was both presumptuous and insulting.In addition, once I arrived at the apartment and was communicating through the site’s message portal, I couldn't tell if I wa

Everything was exactly as pictured and described. Clean and well decorated, stocked with everything you could need. Was surprisingly really quiet! Metro, marche and shopping all within walking distance. And the patisserie down below was magnifique! I was sad to leave. Would definitely recommend!
