I recently stayed at this Montreal apartment and had a mostly positive experience with a few minor issues.The location was excellent. The apartment is within walking distance of Jean Talon Market and close to Metro stations, which made it easy to explore the city. This convenience was the highlight of our stay.The apartment was well-equipped and felt complete. Everything I needed was there, and the space was thoughtfully set up. It felt like a real home rather than just a rental. However, there were a few problems. The apartment didn't have ice trays, which was inconvenient, especially during warm weather when we wanted cold drinks. The bathroom sink also drained very slowly, so water would pool up and take a long time to empty. This made my bathroom visits longer than expected.As a first time user, I found communicating rough VRBO confusing. When I booked the apartment through their site, I was pushed into buying damage insurance I clearly didn't need. The platform disguised this as protection, but the process felt undeniably coercive.
